The project aims to develop all the technology and communication networks to facilitate the use of robots in public spaces. The robots are configured as new urban furniture, and can perform various functions that will be analyzed in this project: security and surveillance, information, assistance to people.

The project is coordinated by the Institute of Robotics and Industrial Informatics at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and is aimed at developing a network of robots in urban areas to provide services to citizens and improve the quality of life in cities.
