New orthogonal bus network of Barcelona: The revolution begins

The orthogonal bus network is a new bus transportation system to be introduced in Barcelona later this year. Since the project went public, it has been described as revolutionary by many media sources. Above are some headlines from notable publications.

The orthogonal bus network was initially introduced as a concept by the Urban Ecology Agency of Barcelona (BCNecologia). Its implementation in Barcelona has been made possible by the cooperation of the Barcelona City Council, TMB and BCNecologia.
