Cities for walking. The disincentive to the use of private vehicles is a global trend.

The street, still, is a territory of tension, but in the future of the cities, there are no doubts anymore, the big loser will be the car. The world walks towards that direction. It tends, precisely, to make walkable cities, where residents move on foot, by bicycle or by public transport.

The loss of spaces for car - in favour of pedestrians -- will  persuade drivers to look at other options, which the infrastructure of urban mobility - and this is the great challenge - will have to put at their disposal in order to concrete the change of conception in the use of public space.
