The municipal budget proposal by Marea Atlántica to the opposition groups have reserved in the section on transfers, a line of 100,000 euros to finance an agreement with the Urban Ecology Agency of Barcelona, with the aim of carrying out a "project of restructuring of routes, stops and nodes of modal interchange" in the city, as well as for the implementation of this work. That is the same company with which PSOE and BNG had contracted the mobility plan in 2011, a project that, with the arrival of the PP to Maria Pita, was put aside in a drawer and that confronted the responsible of the project, Salvador Rueda, with the Local Exectutive of the moment, that said that his work was "a simple study".

In this mobility plan, which has not been applied, there was the idea of introducing superblocks in the city, a model that has already begun to test in Barcelona. This system of traffic calm is focused in restricting the circulation in the inner streets of a neighborhood for moving it to the main streets, so within the neighborhoods only can enter with cars theresidents, the vehicles of load and unload and the emergency vehicles, so the bulk of the traffic is moved to the avenues and the bigger streets. After the change of Government in María Pita, the municipal executive rescued the mobility plan drafted by Salvador rueda, but it has not started to apply it neither.
